Day 1

My little brother Lewis and me, Mike, are ready to start an amazing trip arround the Brittish Islands. We are in a pub at Dublin drinking a delicious ice black Guiness beer. We were also playing poker with a charming old man. The weather was foggy and warm.

We realised we had to leave the pub. We had to go to the harbour.  The ship was waiting us.

We entered in the ship no so early. Then, the ship sailed and Lewis started to feel bad, he was dizzy and he went to the bed. He was really bad.

I don´t know how I will pass this days in the ship with Lewis. He is a little bit exaggerated.

Day 2

The day of today was boring. We didn´t do nothing. We only ate things with potatoes. It looks like Lewis doesn´t feel very bad now, he is better. The weather was windy and a little bit cold.

Day 3

This day was very exciting! We saw seals in the sea, very close to an island. They were so funny. We also saw sea birds and dolphins, but they were far from the ship.

Day 5

We finally passed the North Chanel, so we are in Inverness now. Inverness it´s very beutiful, but, also very cold. It is hailing in the town. The most interesting thing in Inverness is the Loch Ness. It´s very grey and cold, but it´s amazing because of the legend of the monster that supposly live there.
We passed the night in a motel, very close to the Loch Ness.

 Day 7

We wanted to go to the Mont Ben Nevis, the highest peak of the United Kingdom, but the weather didn´t let us go, so, we passed all the day of yesterday and today´s morning untill weather let us took the bycicles and go. We went to a beutiful village in the middle of the Highlands and we saw an old scottish costume, people wearing skirts and playing the bagpipes.

We passed through a field full of purple thistles. They were so beutiful! Then, we saw cows with long hair. I´m not lying. They had bangs. It was amazing and funny how do they eat the grass of the field.

Day 8

We are in Aberdeen!
Beutiful city with a beutiful maritime avenue and a nice beach.
Everything it´s nice in Aberdeen except the weather. It´s hailing again.

Oh my God! Repently, a big hail fell in the head of Lewis and he started to bleed. Finally, we went
here, to the hospital and we are waiting for his turn.

Thank you God! The doctor said that it´s a minor injury and he is allright.

Day 11

We are now in Edimburgh, the capital city of Scotland and one of the most beautiful cities you can find in the U.K.
We came passing cities such as Dundee and Perth. Dundee it´s nice, but nothing compare to the history of Edimburgh.
We visited the castle and the Victoria Street. We have to enjoy tie while it´s not hailing. It´s sunny but not really hot becouse of the maritime climate.

Day 12
I woke up this morning and I didn´t know were I am. Lewis told me that the last night we started eating haggies in a pub, and we ended drinking a lot of whiskey, so we were drank the last night. Now I am tired and I want to sleep.

Day 14

Yesterday, we arrived to Glasgow, the biggest city of Scotland and the third of the U.K.

In the way of comming, we almost run over a poor deer that crossed the road at night. Excepting this, the rest of the way was fine. It´s better cycling here in the Lowlands than in the Highlands because the ground it´s more plane. We passed through some forests of pines and lots of lakes. Can you imagine that in Scotland there are over 30.000 lakes? Just amazing.

Today we went running to the Ibrox Stadium. Lewis wanted to watch the derby of Glasgow. Rangers against Celtic. Unfortunately, there wasn´t tickets left, so Lewis was sad. I didn´t really mind because I´m not a football fan.

Day 18

We were very close to the borderline between Scotland and England and repently, in a town we found a riot. It wasn´t very big, but it seems like the people was angry with something. We realisd that they were scottish nationalists, and I had a bag with the flag of the U.K. They became furious and started to insulting us and throwing lighters, stones and things like that. We ran very far away from there.

We passed through the Kielder Forest park and there we found the borderline between Scotland and England. We found very old oaks in the park, and also, we saw the little brittish owl, an endangered animal.

Day 21

We are now in Newcastle, in the eastern coast of England. The weather was now rainy, but not really cold. We were in the underground of the city, that it´s really old. Then, we visited St. James Park, the football stadium and we had fish and chips for dinner. We passed the night in an hotel in front off the North Sea. Very close to Sunderland, another city near Newcastle, we found a swamp, and there we found the marsh fritillary, a kind of endangered handsome butterfly.

Day 23

Today, we passed through the River Tees, and Lewis said, why don´t we fish here?
We took out the fishing rod and, after some hours, we fished a bearded fish. Then, we continued our way through a forest of elms and lots of green fields.

Day 26

We arrived to Leeds, in Yorkshire the same day that Leeds United played against Middlesbrough. The weather was rainy and frozen, but, of course, Lewis wanted to watch the match in Elland Road stadium, and we did it. Leeds United won 5-0. Exciting! Lewis took some photos with the players and he was so happy.

Day 30

We passed the River Trent in Nottingham. This city was so beutiful, with some incredible buildings and a fantastic history. I loved the city. We visited Sherwood forests, were take place the legend of Robin Hood. The weather was cloudy and cold, but it wasn´t rainy.

Day 32

We were almost in Birmingham. We were sleeping in our tents, when, a red fox entered in the tent and stole us some food. I was upset because I was hungry and now I don´t have enough food to eat.

Day 33

We reached Birmingham. We passed the day there and we ate avocado sandwich. Delicious. The best part of the day. I didn´t like really the city, it´s just another city, but bigger, without many things to do for my taste. The weather was sunny and a little bit hot. Perfect!

Day 34

Lewis wanted to fish something in the Severn River, so we went to this river to fish something. The day was sunny and warm and we are now in a shore with willows.

May be you can´t imagine, but, we fished a salmon! A big one.

We are eating the salmon now, arround the fire. It´s delicious. I´m also eating a kidney pie that I bought in a village.

Day 36

We are now in Oxford, an universitary town. We saw the beautiful college and it´s incredible towers. Just amazing. We took a sunbath in the shore of the Oxford canal because the weather was hot and very sunny. The temperatures reached over 25ºC.

Day 40

After all this trip, we finally reached our destination, London. We entered passing the awesome Thames River and we passed a fine day. We went to the Hy
de Park and we feeded the squirrles, the gooses and the pelicans. We found amazing trees. Then, we visited some museums and we saw the Buckingham Palace.
After all, we went to the airport. We had a fantastic trip!
